Our client expanded its Sydney business in 2019 adding Equities Research and Equities Sales & Trading which drove the need for a larger office to accommodate the expanded operation. To deliver this new office within aggressive timescales, on-the-ground IT Workplace Project Management with financial services experience was required to manage all the IT elements of the fit-out and relocation to the new office.
With client business, technology and property stakeholders located in the US, UK and Hong Kong, the local project team need to work to keep the global team continuously updated on status.
CS Technology was engaged to lead and manage the IT elements of the fit-out and relocation to the new office. The new office included delivering the AV components of a large multi-purpose Boardroom suite, setting up a new trade floor, comms room design and installation, IT physical security (CCTV and access control) as well as Telco installations, voice services, End User IT and planning the user moves and subsequent decommissioning of the legacy offices.
CS Technology provided our client with an experienced financial services workplace IT team including Project Manager, Project Coordinator and SMEs in cabling, UPS and trade floors. Effectively the CST team became an extension of our client’s IT organisation working closely with the local design, construction and trade teams, and remotely with the client’s IT team across the US, UK and APAC to lead and deliver all of the IT elements of the new Sydney workplace.
Relocation to the new Sydney office was successfully delivered on time and within budget. Our client’s senior management were very happy with the new space and provided extremely positive feedback on CS Technology’s commitment, capability and ease of working together.
