June 16, 2010 - CS Technology CTO James Dow presented on “The Role of Latency in Financial Markets Technology and the Impact on State-of-the-Art Financial Exchange Data Centers” at the 2010 Hong Kong DatacenterDynamics show. The event – themed “Utilizing Space Efficiency to Deal with Increased Computing Power While Maintaining Resilience – addressed the issues currently faced by operators and looked forward to the challenges looming ahead. James’ presentation explored how the sensitivity to latency is driving an ongoing dislocation of the financial services compute workload and its relation to the massive growth to IT systems worldwide in that industry.
